It’s stored at one of EVault's seven offsite data centers, all of which are classified Tier III or IV, providing the highest level of reliability. Assured data availability

Because you don’t rely on tapes, you can restore your company’s data quickly should disaster strike. There is no need to contact a tape vaulting service, load tapes, and find the appropriate backup set. You simply select the backup set or file to restore and EVault’s Single PassRestore technology rebuilds backups dynamically, so there’s no need to restore from multiple incremental backups.

End-to-end data security

Data is encrypted before and during over-the-wire transmission, and remains encrypted in storage. During restores, decryption occurs only when the encryption key holder enters the correct passcode. There are no “back doors.” Not even EVault can see your data.

Comprehensive Web-based management tools

You manage and monitor your backups through Web CentralControl, a secure, centralized interface that runs in a web browser. Wizards ease setup and administration, and a dashboard confirms that backups occur as expected. Customizable views make it easy to manage agents, and role-based user access lets you delegate backup tasks.

Compliance with industry and corporate governance requirements

EVault Protect’s disk-to-disk technology makes it easy to comply with regulations including SOX, GLB, HIPAA and SEC/NASD regulations.
